One50 Dance

A Little Bit of our History

Beginning as a God given dream & vision, Kelly Rawlins & Kelly Beames decided to use their passion for dance and their heart for seeing young souls encouraged to begin an after-school dance program. One50 Dance was born in Adelaide, South Australia in the year 2000 (Term 4) as a program of Youth For Christ South Australia.

In the first years this after-school dance club grew and expanded from one small class of five young girls & two leaders into 10 thriving dance clubs with over 500 students. Along the way a large leadership team grew who continuously pour out their energy and gifts as they lead and teach with a passion & drive to claim back dance for the kingdom of God, and to see young people across the country reach their God-given potential. Today, One50 Dance runs various dance classes & programs in schools & communities locally, nationally & internationally! The One50 movement is full of life, energy, passion and inspiration!!

We now move into a new decade with new dreams ahead! We continue to pour our time and energy into reaching out to hundreds of young people through our dance based programs whilst the development of our first ever One50 Centre where we can embrace our young people on a deeper and practical level continues.
